This Privacy Policy describes how EXIF Shifter ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your data. Our philosophy is simple: your data is yours.
Because EXIF Shifter is designed to be a completely offline, on-device utility, we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.
EXIF Shifter does not collect any personal information, usage analytics, or telemetry data.
All processing of your photos and their EXIF metadata happens locally on your Mac. The App reads the photo files you select, modifies the time data according to your instructions, and saves the changes directly back to your local storage. At no point are your photos or their metadata transmitted to us or any third-party servers.
While the App itself does not collect any data, Apple provides developers with anonymized crash reports and app usage statistics (such as the number of downloads or uninstalls) through App Store Connect. This data is entirely anonymous, is collected by macOS itself, and is only shared with us if you have explicitly opted-in to share diagnostics with developers in your Mac's system settings. We use this anonymized data solely to identify and fix bugs.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time if the functionality of the App changes. If we ever decide to introduce features that require data collection (which we currently have no plans to do), we will update this policy and request your explicit consent before collecting any data.
